How can you increase your performance in what ??? what do you want to do ??
If it's increase your power output or sprinting speed or strength then erythropoeitin (EPO) is no use whatsoever. Do you know what epo actually is ???
its a naturally ocurring drug which produces more red blood cells to enhance bodily functions such as osteogenesis (bone formation) and others. To have it injected for performance enhancement (especially at a competitive level) is illegal.
The reason it's illegal is because its harmful to your body, NOT because they dont want you to take it!!!!
Ever heard of Marco Pantani a cycling legend ??? He was famous for being able to climb up the alps like a goat on a bike and was only found to have a high "haematocrit" (red blood cell count) when he died!!! Too many red blood cells make your blood thicker and therefore you will be more susceptible to heart attacks, stroke and ultimatley, DEATH
EPO can be stimulated by decreasing the oxygen levels in your blood - your body will produce additional EPO to increase the number of red blood cells to help scavange additional oxygen.
So my advice to you would be to hold your breath for a really, really really really long time.....
