Question:
From the manager of Peak Performance: Do you have any suggestions?
Hi everyone. I manage PP Online and we're keen to make the Answers section as user-friendly as possible.
Is there anything you think we could do to make the section easier to use? Do you have suggestions about features or functions you'd like to see? Do you find the Answers sections easy to use? This is your chance to give me your feedback.
Thanks

i think it would be very good if you gave a rating tothe people that aske questions and more importanly those who answear because obviously not eveybody have hte same level of knowledge and it could be important to know just who is giving you advice (a health proffesional or an amatuer bodybuilder...)

I most certainly think it would be good to have a system whereby answers were rated, possibly so that the best answer moves to the top? I have also seen forums whereby posters accumulate 'reputation' and because of this, the 'rating' they give someone else has greater impact. Hope that makes sense.
Is there a search function for the Q&A section? This would obviously be of great help.
Not sure if Moderators have been appointed yet but there seem to be a large number of questions in the wrong subsection, especially the 'nutrition' section.
Cheers
M

Oh, another suggestion, if the Q&A section stays the same it might be an idea to make it such that when a question is replied to it is shifted to the top of the page....?

How do you buy stuff with your points?

I am sorry to say it but I find that compared to the many long established fitness forums available elsewhere this one is badly laid out, excessively cluttered and pretty unattractive overall.
It really does need a design overhaul to be made more user friendly.

any information taken from journal articles should be cited. Also personal experience counts for a lot when advising on issues.

I am real new here and really don't have much depth of experience with the forum, but it seems that there is an overarching priority to sell me subscriptions. I am not a fitness or sports professional, and frankly, your subscriptions are too pricey for me for the good that I derive from them. Your books, however, are a different matter, and I have three of them that I use extensively. On all three of them I had to take an unwanted subscription and then scramble to cancel it before the draconian future payment came due. It seems that once you have joined and looked around that you should be able to buy books of interest without having to go through that subscription charade.

I bought a trial subscription so I could have access to the information so teasingly presented in the emails I receive. However, I still can't seem to access the articles talked about in the emails I receive! For instance, I click on the link to receive my "free" report and I am asked to pay again! I go to the subscribers area to try and find the report and I don't even know where to look! Not sure if I'm just an idiot or what.

Hi - thanks everyone for your comments.
We're going to be looking again at redesigning this section to make it more user-friendly and easy to use.
Regarding the subscriptions and book sales - I've asked our customer service manager to reply to you personally.
Best wishes

Is it possible to add a 'My Favourites' feature which would allow you to add articles to a folder, or bookmark them so they could be easily accessed again?
Thanks

Well, honestly, people go for points to spend in the shop, including me. But some answers call for more quality. Why not choose the best questions and answers and put them in a forum?

everything is pponline.. One thing you have to include in pponline is that you have to keep rate this question section before answering or questioning..
i hope you understood..
